“Clinical resource management and oversight under the health law”
The commissioner of mental health, in consultation with health care providers, must design a clinical resource management system that ensures the highest quality of care and facilitates long-term, sustained recovery for individuals with mental illness. To maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the clinical resource management system, the Department of Mental Health must use quality indicators, manageable data requirements, and quality improvement processes to monitor, evaluate, and improve the outcomes for individuals and the performance of the clinical resource management system.
