“Policies and procedures under the Agency of Human Services regulations”
An assisted living facility must develop a quality improvement program that identifies and addresses quality issues. The assisted living facility must have an internal quality improvement committee that allows residents to have meaningful opportunity to provide input, discuss grievances and review plans of action. The facility must annually conduct resident satisfaction surveys and use the results of the survey to identify issues to be addressed by the quality improvement committee. Information obtained in the quality improvement program must be kept confidential but may be disclosed to the Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living Division of Licensing and Protection.
