“Licensing procedures under the Agency of Human Service regulations”
The Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living’s Division of Licensing and Protection must inspect a home for the terminally ill prior to issuing a license and may inspect a home any other time to determine if it is in compliance with regulatory requirements. The division must provide written notice of violation to the home within 10 days if it finds a violation. The division may sanction a home for the terminally ill to protect residents by imposing administrative fines to suspending, revoking, modifying or refusing to renew the home’s license.
