“Telemedicine; coverage of health care services; definitions”
Arizona requires all contracts issued or renewed by hospital or medical service corporations after January 1, 2015 to cover telemedicine services to the extent that such services would be covered if provided in-person and the person receiving the services is located in a rural region of Arizona. Hospital or medical service corporations may limit coverage to in-network providers and may require impose cost-sharing requirements.
