Requires licensed pharmacists, pharmacies, and wholesalers to maintain prescription drug and controlled substances records for at least two years and to allow the Board of Pharmacy access to these records. Permits wholesalers, subject to the Board’s approval, to maintain records outside of their storage facility, but requires wholesalers to produce records within 48 hours of the Board’s request. Specifies the information that wholesalers must include in their records (e.g., source of drugs, date of distribution, etc.).
