Patient records in custody of health care facility - definitions
Requires health care facilities to allow patients or their representatives an opportunity to examine their records or provide patients with a physical copy of their records. Permits facilities to impose a reasonable fee in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Requires facilities to maintain records of records requests.
