Office of Rural Health Created; Duties
Establishes the Office of Rural Health within the Department of Health. Tasks the Office with serving as a clearinghouse for information regarding health services in rural areas, assisting rural hospitals with physician recruitment and retention efforts, and participating in a consortium of entities working to establish a statewide Telehealth network.
