Idaho Code Ann. § 37-3303, Limitations on Sales and Purchases

Prohibits the retail sale or purchase of pseudoephedrine products to a single customer on a single day that contain an aggregate amount of pseudoephedrine in excess of 3.6 grams. Prohibits the purchase of pseudoephedrine products by a single customer during a 30 day period that contain an aggregate amount of pseudoephedrine in excess of 9 grams. Requires retailers, prior to selling pseudoephedrine product, to check a person’s government issued ID card and electronically submit information to the electronic tracking system. Permits the Board of Pharmacy to issue exemptions to a retailer’s compliance with the reporting requirements. Limits these exemptions to a maximum of 180 days.
