Requires dentists to obtain a permit from the Idaho State Board of Dentistry if they wish to administer moderate sedation, general anesthesia, and deep sedation. Establishes requirements for obtaining this permit that address items such as training, patient monitoring, and equipment. Requires dentists to obtain a patient’s written informed consent prior to administering sedation or anesthesia and to maintain records of the procedure and the patient's condition at discharge.
