Requires the Department of Health and Welfare to maintain physical and electronic records for each recipient of children’s mental health services. Specifies the information that the physical file may include (e.g., copies of court orders, birth certificates, assessments from non-Department sources, etc.). Requires the Department to securely store records for at least five years after closing a child’s case.
