Requires hospitals to provide pharmacy services under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. Requires this pharmacist to maintain records of pharmacy transactions and dispensed drugs. Requires hospitals to create written policies and procedures for pharmacy services including those that address drug recalls, drugs that a patient brings with them to the hospital, self-administration of drugs, etc.
