Requires a physician to provide inpatient hospital psychiatric services in a facility that is licensed by Idaho or another state and has received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Requires the facility to have a separate psychiatric unit in order to provide services besides emergency screening and stabilization. Requires providers to make reports of evaluations and patient care plans part of the participant’s record.
