Establishes standards for CCHD screening. Requires hospitals or, for a birth outside of a hospital, the birth attendant to record pulse oximetry screening results on the infant’s birth certificate. Requires hospitals or the person performing CCHD screening to refer the infant’s parent or legal guardian for further evaluation if the screening results are abnormal.
