“Reports of professional liability actions; bankruptcies; Department of Health’s responsibility to provide under the regulation of professions and occupations law”
The report of a claim or lawsuit for damages for personal injury which is required to be provided to the Department of Health is public information except for the name of the injured person, which must be confidential. The department must include the report in the health care practitioner’s profiles within 30 days after receipt.
