“Disciplinary guidelines under the Department of Health regulations”
The Board of Orthotists and Prosthetists may discipline and fine orthotists and prosthetists for a variety of grounds including:
- Failing to file a report as required;
- Kickbacks or split fee arrangements;
- Engaging in sexual activity with a patient; and
- Deceptive representations in the practice of orthotics and prosthetics.
