“Disciplinary guidelines under the Department of Health regulations”
The Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology may discipline and fine speech-language pathologists and audiologists for a variety of grounds including:
- Fraud or deceit, negligence, incompetence, or misconduct in the practice of speech pathology or audiology;
- Engaging in sexual misconduct with a patient; and
- Failing to report to the Board within 30 days after the language pathologists and audiologist was convicted of a crime in any jurisdiction.
