“Telemedicine; coverage of health care services; definitions”
Health care services organizations must include coverage of telemedicine services for all evidences of coverage issued, delivered, or renewed beginning January 1, 2015. Such coverage must apply to any services that would be covered if they occurred through an in-person provider consultation and provided to an enrollee that lives in a rural region of Arizona. Health care services organizations may impose cost-sharing requirements for telemedicine services.
