“Telemedicine; coverage of health care services; definitions”
Arizona requires all disability insurance policies issued or renewed after January 1, 2018 to cover telemedicine services to the extent that such services would be covered if provided in-person and the person receiving the services is located in a rural region of Arizona. Disability insurers may limit coverage to in-network providers and may require impose cost-sharing requirements.
