Reporting of recovery of tuberculosis patients by the attending physician
This law requires that attending physicians report the recovery of any person with tuberculosis to the proper health officer, who is then required to record this information in his/her office records while relieving the person who had tuberculosis from any further liability to any requirements imposed by Article 22 of the Public Health Law – “Control of Tuberculosis.”
