Reporting requirements for communicable diseases in a state facility
This law requires that officers in charge of state facility immediately report incidences of communicable diseases (as listed in N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 10, § 2.1) to the Commissioner. Upon receipt of such a report, the law requires that the Commissioner subsequently guide the officer in charge on how to curb the outbreak of the communicable disease within the facility.
