Anytime a physician, clinical laboratory or health facility attending to a person with a blood or urine test resulting in a heavy metal value at or above those listed at N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 10, § 22.7, the person or facility must report such occurrence to the State Commissioner of Health within 10 days of the receipt of the test results.
Additionally, every physician, health facility and clinical laboratory with confirmed or suspected pesticide poisoning must report the results to the State Commissioner of Health within 48 hours.
