Reporting of adverse occurrences related to sedation, nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia, and antianxiety premedication.
Requires licensed dentists to report adverse reactions or deaths following sedation to the Department of Public Health within seven days of the event. Specifies the information that must be included in the report (e.g., dental procedure, drugs administered, etc.). Failure to comply with the reporting requirements could result in revocation of the dentist’s sedation privileges.
