Physicians’ and Facilities’ duty to report Alzheimer’s cases
This law requires physicians or persons representing a medical facility to report Alzheimer’s diagnoses to the department of health according to the requirements set forth in N.Y. Pub. Health Law § 2002. The department of health is required to keep these reports confidential according to the rules set forth in N.Y. Pub. Health Law § 2003.
