Outpatient Services
Requires rehabilitation hospitals that provide outpatient services to establish polices and procedures for these services. Requires rehabilitation hospitals to provide patients with a general evaluation upon their initial outpatient visit and to periodically re-evaluate patients that receive outpatient services on an ongoing basis. Requires rehabilitation hospitals to maintain medical records for outpatient services and specifies the content of these records (e.g., test results, diagnosis, patient history, etc.).
