Opiate Agonist
Authorizes pharmacists to prescribe opiate antagonists to persons at risk of experiencing an opiate related drug overdose, persons in a position to help an at-risk person, or persons that might encounter at-risk persons due to their official duties or employment. Requires pharmacists to counsel the recipient of an opiate antagonist about how to prevent, recognize, and respond to an opiate related drug overdose and how to administer the opiate antagonist. Requires pharmacists to maintain records of an opiate antagonist prescription for two years and to report the prescription to the Wyoming prescription drug monitoring program.
