Outpatient Services
Requires hospitals that provide outpatient services to establish policies regarding staffing, medical records, and facilities. Requires hospitals to conduct a general medical evaluation of patients on their first visit and periodically reevaluate patients who receive continuous care. Requires hospitals to maintain medical records that contain information regarding the patient’s history, diagnosis, treatment, and lab test results.
