Agency websites
The Commissioner of Health may post the following information on agency websites:
- Healthy lifestyle and preventative care information with procedures and treatments categorized by level of effectiveness;
- Health plan company efficiency report cards;
- Health care provider charges for common procedures;
- Evidence based medicine guidelines to be used as a resource by health care providers and consumers;
- Resources and web links related to improving efficiency in health care;
- List of nonprofits and charitable organizations that accept donations of used medical equipment.
The Commissioner may include links to private sector or other government websites in order to avoid being duplicative. The Commissioner must cooperate with the Commissioner of Commerce when posting information collected from health plan companies on the website.
