Provider Information Pilot Study
A pilot program that compares data from different providers to observe the barriers and opportunities of having health care quality and cost effectiveness has been instituted. The factors that the study may examine include: administrative barriers, flexibility in ordering specific tests, access to information, including diagnoses, disease, outcomes and new technology, quality improvement activities, economic incentives, and peer review procedures.
