Medical Records
Requires nursing facilities to maintain medical records and specifies the information that facilities must document in these records (e.g., medical evaluation, physician orders, lab results, etc.). Requires facilities to establish a policy for safeguarding resident records and to transfer records to another facility when transferring a resident.
