Idaho Code Ann. § 54-5705, Provider-Patient Relationship

Requires providers that do not have an existing provider-patient relationship with a patient seeking telehealth services to establish that relationship. Permits providers to establish the relationship by audio and video interaction, so long as they satisfy Idaho’s community standard of care. Clarifies that this section does not prohibit providers from offering telehealth services to patients with whom they already have a relationship or bar providers from communicating about their patient with another provider.
