Health Information and Management System
Requires rehabilitation hospitals to hire qualified personnel to administer their health information and management system. Requires rehabilitation hospitals to maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other applicable federal and state laws. Specifies the information that medical records must contain (e.g., identifying data, lab reports, diagnosis, etc.).
