“Professional liability claims and actions; reports by insurers and health care providers; annual report by office under the insurance law”
Each insurer providing professional liability insurance to a practitioner of medicine, practitioner of osteopathic medicine, a podiatric physician, a dentist, a hospital, a crisis stabilization unit, to a health maintenance organization, clinics, or an ambulatory surgical center must report to the Office of Insurance Regulation any written claim or malpractice lawsuit.
