“Disciplinary guidelines under the Department of Health regulations”
The Board of Respiratory Care may discipline and fine respiratory therapists for a variety of grounds including:
- Unprofessional conduct;
- Failure to report another health care professional who violated the law;
- Medical malpractice;
- Kickbacks or split fee arrangements;
- Deceptive representations in the practice of respiratory care; and
- Inability to practice respiratory care with skill and safety.
