The state has established the MoHealthNet Oversight Committee to review patient satisfaction and outcomes reports of the state’s Medicaid population. The Committee is responsible for reviewing comparative health plan data, delivery model data, and results of public input. The Committee must develop new health improvement plans that take into account the changing demographics of the state’s Medicaid population. The Oversight Committee must also designate a subcommittee that is dedicated to examining the quality of long term care in the state. The long term care committee must also develop a comprehensive, statewide information system that is web-based, and integrated into a patient’s health record.
