Disclosure of financial interest - R.I. Gen. Laws Ann. § 23-17.4-33

Assisted living residences that refer clients to health care facilities or other residences in which they have a financial interest must disclose their financial interest to the client when making the referral, notify the client that they may seek services from a different provider, and provide the client with a written list of such alternative providers.

Failure to comply with this section may result the suspension or revocation of a residence’s license or administrative penalties.
