Coverage of Telehealth services
Requires health insurance carriers to cover telehealth services in the same manner in which they cover in-person services. Permits carriers to negotiate reimbursement terms for telehealth services with providers just as they do for in-person services. Permits carriers to impose out-of-pocket costs for telehealth services. Clarifies the scope of such coverage (e.g., telehealth coverage for a specific service is not necessary if the policy does not cover that service on an in-person basis).
