Claim Review Procedure
Requires patients to submit a claim to the Wyoming Medical Review Panel prior to filing a medical malpractice suit in court. Requires this filing to include statement of the facts underlying their malpractice claim and a medical record release form that authorizes the panel to access portions of the patient’s medical record that relate to the claim. Permits patients and providers to agree in writing to waive submission of the claim to the Panel.
