“Evaluation of Quality”
The quality assurance program established by each clinic licensed to perform surgery must also include reviews of the following:medical necessity of procedures performed; whether adequate pre and post operative services and procedures met patient needs; andall complications.Each clinic must use the findings of the assessments in the revision of clinic policies and consideration of clinical privileges. Each clinic must document all reviews conducted and their findings and make them available to the Department upon request.
