“Authority of the state ombudsman under the human services law”
In the fulfilling the responsibilities of the Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman, the ombudsman may:
- Have appropriate access to review the medical and social records of an individual receiving long-term care services;
- Communicate and visit any individual receiving long-term care;
- Have appropriate access to review the medical and social records of an individual receiving long-term care services; and
- Pursue administrative, judicial, or other remedies on behalf of individuals receiving long-term care.
