“Adoption of grievance procedure under the human services law”
The state board of health must require every nursing home to submit a plan for a resident grievance mechanism for nursing home facilities. Residents must be provided a copy of the proposed notice. A resident grievance mechanism plan must include a method that allows each resident to file a grievance with the state ombudsman program as an alternative or in addition to the home’s grievance mechanism.
