“Office of the long-term care ombudsman established under the human services law”
The Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman is established in the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living to represent the interests of older persons and persons with disabilities under the age of 60 receiving long-term care. Long-term care facilities must include facilities in which placements are made by and funded through the department.
