“Records of abuse, neglect, and exploitation under the human services law”
Information, including the identity of the reporter, obtained through of reports and investigations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation are confidential and may not be released absent a court order. The commissioner of disabilities, aging, and independent living must maintain a registry of all substantiated reports. The commissioner may disclose registry information only to the state’s attorney general, the public as required by the Nursing Home Reform Act of 1986, the board of medical practice, and as permitted by law.
