“Unprofessional conduct under the professions and occupations law”
Speech-language pathologists and audiologists must not engage in unprofessional conduct which includes:
- Failure to make available copies of records or documents to the patient upon request;
- Professional negligence or malpractice;
- Sexually harassing or engaging in a sexual act with a patient;
- Conviction of a crime; or
- Violating ethical standards.
