“Unprofessional conduct under the professions and occupations law”
A respiratory care practitioner must not engage in unprofessional conduct which includes:
- Failing to keep written care records;
- Experimenting on a patient without first obtaining the patient’s full, informed and written consent; and
- Sexually harassing or engaging in a sexual act with a patient.
