“Data repository; licensee profiles under the professions and occupations law”
The Department of Health must create a data repository which collects all required data from health care professional and releases the data to the public. The following information must be collected: convictions of felonies and misdemeanors; a description of any charges to which a health care professional pleads guilty; a description of any formal charges served and findings of the licensing authority and the courts; revocation or involuntary restriction of hospital privileges; and all medical malpractice court judgments or arbitration award.
