“Definitions”
Arizona defines unprofessional conduct by a behavioral health professional as including, among other items, the commission of a felony, fraudulent or deceptive conduct, failing to maintain adequate client records, failing to allow the board of behavioral health examiners access to records, failing to honor a client’s request to share their records with another health professional, failing to comply with state and federal confidentiality laws, and failing to allow a client or their representative access to their records.
