“Trauma center data; requirements; confidentiality; violation; classification”
Trauma centers operating within Arizona must submit patient data to the department of health services. The director of the department of health services must specify the data to be reported. The director must provide trauma system data to each reporting hospital and trauma system. The department may allow persons and organizations access to registry data for research purposes. Registry data that contains identifiable information is confidential; persons that disclose such information without authorization are subject to liability for a class 3 misdemeanor.
