“Disciplinary action under the occupations and professions law”
Podiatrists may face disciplinary action such as having their licenses suspended or revoked for engaging in misconduct which includes:
- Intentionally harming a patient or otherwise engaging in unprofessional conduct in practicing podiatry;
- Physical or mental incapacity or negligence; or
- Knowingly violating any board rule.
