“Review; reports required under the public safety and welfare law”
The long-term care ombudsman must establish and maintain a statewide reporting system to collect and analyze data relating to complaints and conditions and long-term care facilities to identify and resolve individual and systemic complaints or problems and to develop reports. The office must annually report its activities to the commissioner of health and human services, the governor, the state legislature, and the public.
