“Penalties under the public health law”
Any person who violates state laws or regulations pertaining to the birth conditions program is guilty of a class B misdemeanor. An individual who is harmed by a violation may commence a legal action against the person responsible and may be entitled to damages of $2,500 for each violation, attorney’s fees, other costs, and other relief that the court deems equitable.
